Lecturer: F. Gelis
The QFT3 course will discuss some more advanced topics in Quantum Field Theory:
- Effective field theories
- Quantum anomalies
- Extended field configurations (monopoles, instantons)
- Modern tools for amplitudes (color ordering, spinor-helicity formalism, BCFW recursion)
- Lattice field theory
- Quantum field theory at finite temperature
- Strong fields and semi-classical methods
- Loop integral reduction and generalized unitarity cuts
ECTS: 4
Course schedule: the QFT3 course will be held on fridays @ 10:00-12:00 and 13:30-15:30,
- december 6, 13, 20
- january 10, 17, 24, 13
