In this course we will watch films in English from different English-speaking countries (USA, England, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Nigeria, etc.), improve listening comprehension, take place in discussions in English, work on written composition in English, learn how to make a blog for film reviews, and develop creative skills related to filmmaking. Students will be expected to watch films, write film summaries and reviews, create a film blog, give oral presentations about films, and produce a short film of their own in small groups.
