This seminar will propose different subjects of study for an initiation to observation drawing.
It will be aimed at both beginners and insiders who will benefit from instructions adapted to their level.
We will discover how our brain, through different mental representations, influences the perception of the subjects we wish to draw.
To quickly acquire a certain degree of autonomy in drawing, we will focus on correcting them, like a pair of glasses, thanks to simple tools such as freehand measurement with a « pige » or plumb line.
Various exercises will allow us to gradually develop the sense of observation and a more accurate perception of space and volumes.
In order to develop an artistic sensibility and cultivate a creative spirit, we will explore several artistic techniques such as rapid sketching, drawing of naked or dressed living models, or the study of shadows and lights. We will use pencils, charcoal, Conté squares, erasers type "mie de pain" on different types of papers.
The exploration of an artistic subject such as drawing is complementary to the scientific and technical teachings of the future engineer in that it brings him a balance necessary for his holistic development.
Drawing will allow him to develop his abilities to observe, analyze, transcribe, while allowing him to cultivate a sensitive, innovative mind and a non-linear way of thinking.
