The theme entitled Programmable Logic Circuits (FPGA) aims to design complex logic circuits setting up several thousand or even hundreds of thousands of transistors while keeping development times reasonable. Using a complete CAD (Computer-Aided Design) chain of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), students build and test a full-scale signal processing application, such as a spectrum analyzer, audio equalizer or video game.
