After first being introduced to basic film-making techniques, students will learn how to develop an original idea into a finished screenplay. Examples of some famous directorial approaches to screenwriting and shooting a scene will be reviewed. Once they have been pitched and given the green light, group projects will then be put into production and carried through to completion and probable acclaim...
Students will be principally evaluated on their active participation and productivity throughout the sessions as well as during the final presen-tation and screening. Completed shooting scripts/screenplays as well as pitch films and storyboards will also form part of the assessment.
