The objective of the course is to make the link between the "essentially physical" and "essentially data" approaches of the basic courses, and to familiarize/train students to the great challenge of engineering that is model-data interaction and associated scientific issues. More specifically, we will study how to introduce data into a model, or how to use a model to process data, or both at the same time.
