PS-PHY-6321 - Optique Adaptative (2023-2024)

Course Objectives:
The course covers optical propagation through turbulence, adaptive optics, and multi-pupil interferometry: from physical concepts to system sizing rules, to associated signal/image processing and automatic concepts.
These principles are applied to the following three fields
- high resolution imaging in astronomy using one or more telescopes
- very high speed ground-to-space optical telecommunications
- biomedical: ophthalmology and microscopy
