PHY564A - Open Electronics: from Arduino and Raspberry Pi to the Internet of Things
This module aims at teaching electronics, sensors and connected objects through experimental classes and a project. The following points will be targeted :
- Principle and operation of Arduino boards
- Operation of Raspberry-Pi
- Measurements : using and interfacing sensors.
- Designing connected objects.
Each subject will be based on an experimental micro-project.
2 classes will be dedicated to the project of designing a temperature station. It will use a thermal sensor coupled to an Arduino board and interfaced to a Raspberry Pi to provide a remote display. The last 3 classes will be dedicated to an open project.
The final evaluation will be done through a report and a Pitch presentation of the open project
