In this theme, we offer students to discover the Internet of objects and/or build an autonomous mobile robot. Through the discovery of the functioning Arduino card and/or Raspberry Pi, the projects chosen by the students can be oriented towards the "IOT" or towards the design of an autonomous mobile robot capable of moving around a room by itself, taking account of its environment and using the elements provided.
To achieve their objective, students will be given a system equipped with a variety of sensors (Infrared, Ultra-sound, Magnetic, Optical, Camera) and will have to study, depending on the case, the perception of the environment, the on-board operating systems in order to develop a control strategy, and the motorization system (robot).
Whether you're a novice or already an experienced user of this type of object, this tutorial-based MODAL will enable you to develop a complete connected object and/or autonomous mobile robot!
In previous years, projects have involved following a circuit, exploring a maze, chasing a moving target and so on. It's quite conceivable to have a system capable of following a person, obeying a voice command or transporting items.
