Students have the opportunity to do their internship in India as part of the activities of design, innovation, management and ATOS group's technology transfers
This internship is open to every 3-year students. In some cases, students of the Master's programme can apply (Master PIC or other Master's programme of the Ecole Polytechnique).
Research is conucted with one HEC's student and one IIMA's (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad) student. This Indian school, in the Gujarat state, is considered as one of the best Business school in Asia and around the world.
Early December, during the presentation weekend at the HEC with the presence of HEC students who are candidates for the program, students will have to form duo. Each group must choose on of the proposed topics by the ATOS group. Thus, 4 places are available for each school. The most motivated students will be selected in Decemeber to go in an intership abroad.
The 4 research topics are designed by the group's general management. They cover real issues of multicultural management and technology transfers between France and India that now define and implement the ATOS group. These research topics present technology transfer or management tool question, technologic or managerial innovations, and relations between teams from different countries or cultures.
This internship involves knowledge in research methodology and social science. The problems raised involve the use of engineering knowledge. It involves personal qualities of curiosity, adaptation and intellectual and cultural openness.
In order to help them in their internship preparation, duos selected will have to follow a series of courses (January-March) on history of India, management and strategy of the ATOS group. Furthermore, a training based on research in Social science and management will be offered. This series can be validated as an in-depth course (EA).
The scientific option internship lasts a total of 4 months. It is organized in two stages. Firstly, the Indian student will join the French duo to start their internship with ATOS in France. During 1 month (April to May) the group ill work with ATOS. Secondly, the group will go in India for 3 months (May-July). In India, they will be welcomed by a subsidary of the ATOS Group (Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai).
All travel and stay expenses in France and abroad are paid for thanks to the ATOS group support. If so, the internship within the ATOS group within the ATOS group.

Evaluation modalities
Written dissertation and oral defense
The student, with their group, will have to develop a research project and implement a rigourous observation and analysis methodology of the studied subject. A research bibliographical work will be required. The clarity of the written demonstration and oral presentation will also be evaluated.
