The course combines on-line videos, lectures and tutorial classes
This course is aimed at the understanding of the basic phenomena that control the interactions between simultaneous motions of fluids and solids. Applications are found in the domains of transport and energy engineering, aeronautics and civil engineering, biomechanics and microelectronics, among many others.I Dynamic dimensional analysis in fluid-structure interactions
II Interaction of a solid with a fluid at rest
III Interaction of a solid with a fast flow
IV Interaction of a solid with a slow flow
V- Couping with any flow
Presequisite : Fundamentals of solid and fluid mechanis are needed. A course in dynamics is useful.
Evaluation : Final written exam + numerical project (facultative, bonus points)
This course will be taught in English
