Il y a notamment un grand intérêt industriel actuel pour la recherche de , le marketing/publicité web, l'analyse de réseaux sociaux et les systèmes de recommandation, qui en grande partie. Ce marché énorme et cette forte demande ont fait du NLP un domaine de recherche central ayant un grande visibilité et un impact important.
