After some introductory classes on the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory, the aim of this EA is to work on concrete projects of design and sizing, from the industrial world and covering structure mechanics. Projects can include civil engineering structures (buildings, artworks, ...), mechanical engineering (autombile, aeronautics, railway) just as well as modelisation of electronic components or micro or nanomechanical. Students working in pairs can choose a project among those offered by the teachers or propose one. The approach can be analytical, digital or experimental.
Evaluation modalities: Written report and defense of the project
