This course, designed for the first period of the second year of the Cycle Ingénieur Polytechnicien, aims to prepare students for their search for internships and future jobs and to allow students to use English in their professional lives.
The content includes:
Analysis of the student’s skills, personality and preferences
Analysis of opportunities for employment
Advice on writing CVs, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles
Practice of interview skills and useful advice
Professional correspondence
The use of technology in the job search (ATS, generative AI, online interviews, phone interviews)
Useful vocabulary and terminology
Roleplays in professional contexts
An introduction to the Linguaskill English language test
