Target group
These courses are aimed at students who have successfully completed LV1 or LV2 and who have fairly good lexical and syntactic tools, but who still lack practice and fluency in real-life situations.

Aims
The main objectives are to consolidate a level, to begin to move away from an overly academic relationship with German and to open up the learning of the language to the culture of the country. Students will be encouraged to understand the main points of more complex texts (press, literature, theatre) and to react to them. They will be better able to understand audio and video material and to follow a debate on complex subjects by recognising the different points of view presented. In terms of oral expression, the aim is to be able to follow and carry on a relatively spontaneous conversation with German speakers. Students will be required to give more or less detailed presentations on a wide range of topics, present documents, give their point of view and weigh up the pros and cons in a given situation. They will be able to intervene fairly spontaneously in discussions and debates and to build on the contributions of others.

Level 2 students will be able to reach levels B2 or C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
