Infographics became with the development of Internet. Infographics is an "art", a digital art allowing to process multitude information. Transformed in digital data, information can be communicated, traded around the world. The information is distributed faster and become increasingly interactive and available to everyone. It is a revolution but also a risk for the media. The information is complex to control because it can be modified at any time. The proble of copyright occurs. For example, a few years ago a photomontage required hours of work, today softwares like Photoshop enables to reduce this time by 10. Everything is possible, our imagination is the only limit. With new techniques, we must pay attention and sharpening our observation skills to detect any trickery.
Thus, this seminar aims to develop our observation skills and acquire some notions of infographics. We will be doing differents exercies, from the creation of a simple logo to a complex photomontage. To do this, we will use several softwares allowing to study differnt methodologies of creating plans, photomontage and layout implementation. The seminar will operate as a workshop. Students will share their impressions throughout the course and will gather their information to create different works.
