This series of seminars aims to examine the impact of artificial intelligence technologies and their rapid, widespread development on our society from several angles. First, it lays down some of the reflections and ethical considerations that AI can pose for the engineers and organizations that design and deploy it. Secondly, it presents current and future adaptations of the law to secure AI products and deal with possible abuses. Finally, it outlines new products and use cases that are being developed and how these technologies are giving rise to new commercial developments and new business models. This course invites students to question the impact of these technologies on our lifestyles, and how we can approach solutions to the problems they raise. It consists of a series of sessions featuring different specialists in their fields, offering them the opportunity to present different viewpoints, both academic and practical, on these new developments and fields of reflection.
