Study of the different types of animal propulsion and comparison with human systems. The first part of the course is dedicated to the swimming (low and high Reynolds numbers). Evaluation modalities: Students will work in pairs on an article in English connected to one of the chapters of the course. A "conference" is organized in a lecture hall of the Ecole where all students should attend to the presentations of each pairs. They will present their study during ten minutes followed by questions from teachers and classmates.
