Ce cours a pour objectif de fournir aux étudiants des informations sur les causes économiques des problématiques environnementales ainsi que des possibles solutions politiques. Il aidera les étudiants à analyser le rôle du gouvernement dans la règlementation de l'environnement. Ce cours appliquera la théorie et des outils de l'économie environnementale afin de couvrir un grand nombre de problématiques comme la comparaison des instruments économiques, l'impact du commerce sur l'environnement et la formation d'accords internationnaux sur l'environnement.

The course aims to provide students with insight on the economic causes of environmental issues as well as possible policy solutions to these issues. It will help students develop the tools to analyse the role of government in the regulation of the environment. The course will apply both the theory and applied tools of environmental economics to cover a wide range of issues such as comparison of economic instruments, the impact of trade on the environment and the formation of international environmental agreements.
