Le cours d'Information Quantique (PHY580) présente les bases de la deuxième révolution quantique. Il permet de comprendre comment les notions de l'intrication quantique, la superposition et les qubits ouvrent la voie à la réalisation de tâches inimaginables dans le domaine classique. Ce cours porte sur les quatre pilliers des technologies quantiques (communications, simulation, calcul, métrologie), des bases aux réalisations concrètes de l'optique quantique aux circuits supraconducteurs. Il combine cours magistraux, applications, travai bibliographique, cours de programmation quantique et visites en laboratoire.

The Quantum Information course (PHY580) presents the foundations of the second quantum revolution. It provides an understanding of how the notions of quantum entanglement, superposition, and qubits pave the way to the realization of tasks simply unimaginable in the classical realm. The course covers the four pillars of quantum technologies (communications, simulation, computation, metrology), from foundations to concrete realizations from quantum optics to superconducting circuits. In combines lectures, applications, bibliographic work, quantum programming sessions, and lab tours.
