PROJET DE CONCEPTION INNOVANTE PAR LE DESIGN :

Le séminaire se compose de deux activités :
- une activité théorique se déroule en début de séance et comporte des bref cours magistraux de la durée de 30 minutes, concernant l’histoire du design et les influences que cette discipline opère sur la société ;
- une activité pratique de conception, effectuée en collaboration par groupes d’étudiant, finalisée à la conception d’un projet innovant.

Contexte :

A partir des études sur la relation évolutive que le corps entretient avec les objets (André Leroi-Gourhan, Le geste et la parole, Paris, Albin Michel, Sciences d'aujourd'hui,1964), en considération de la fragilité de notre écosystème, de la complexité systémique du monde contemporain et des changements comportementales caractérisant la société actuelle, on demande aux étudiants d’Imaginer un objet, un système, un service en relation au corps humain et de concevoir un projet d’objet pour le corps. Les thématiques et les domaines ssociés au sujet sont autant larges que les activités humaines : tâche des étudiants est de s’orienter et choisir entre celle du sport, du bien-être, de la santé, de l’handicap, de la nourriture entre autres. On demande aussi aux étudiants d’identifier une marque appropriée avec laquelle développer le projet, afin d’imaginer un produit nouveau, une gamme de produits nouveaux, ou un système services/produits, permettant à la marque d’élargir son offre avec une démarche innovante afin de gagner des parts de marché.

Calendrier :
Cours d’introduction : fin Août 2023.
Présentation finale : moitié Novembre 2023.

Critères d’évaluation :

50% pour :
- Participation active et implication de chaque étudiant à l’ensemble des cours.
- Ecoute et partage du travail en équipe.
- Qualités d’analyse et de remise en cause.
- Curiosité et initiative sur le projet.

50 % pour :
- Qualité de conception, contenu et pertinence du projet et de son usage.
- Qualité de présentation formelle du produit/service.
- Qualité visuelle des éléments de présentation graphiques.
- Qualité de l’argumentaire et du discours oral.

Description :

INNOVATIVE DESIGN THROUGH DESIGN PROJECT:

The seminar consists of two activities:
- a theoretical activity takes place at the start of the session and includes brief lectures lasting 30 minutes, concerning the history of design and the influences that this discipline has on society;
- a practical design activity, carried out in collaboration by groups of students, finalized in the design of an innovative project.

Context :

Based on studies on the evolving relationship that the body maintains with objects (André Leroi-Gourhan, Le geste et la parole, Paris, Albin Michel, Sciences d'hui, 1964), taking into consideration the fragility of our ecosystem , the systemic complexity of the contemporary world and the behavioral changes characterizing current society, students are asked to imagine an object, a system, a service in relation to the human body and to design a project for an object for the body. The themes and areas associated with the subject are as broad as human activities: the students' task is to orient themselves and choose between that of sport, well-being, health, disability, food among others . Students are also asked to identify an appropriate brand with which to develop the project, in order to imagine a new product, a range of new products, or a service/product system, allowing the brand to expand its offering with an approach innovative in order to gain market share.

Calendar :
Introductory course: end of August 2023.
Final presentation: mid-November 2023.

Evaluation criteria :

50% for:
- Active participation and involvement of each student in all courses.
- Listening and sharing teamwork.
- Analytical and questioning qualities.
- Curiosity and initiative on the project.

50% for:
- Quality of design, content and relevance of the project and its use.
- Quality of formal presentation of the product/service.
- Visual quality of graphic presentation elements.
- Quality of the argument and oral speech.
